A New CSR Frontier: Business and Population Health

The purpose of this report is to explore the role of business in population health in the United States, with a particular focus on the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in strengthening corporate engagements that aim to improve the health and wellness of employees, communities, suppliers, customers, and the general public.1 The findings in this report are based on interviews with company and stakeholder representatives, a survey of 28 BSR member companies, and a literature review of more than 30 company CSR reports.
