Catalyzing and Speeding Up Purpose-driven Innovation: How to Make Sustainable Consumption Practical and Broad

This discussion will leverage the 10th Sustainable Brands anniversary by highlighting landmark product innovation examples from the past decade that have already changed the ways we consume and live significantly. The panel will then direct its attention toward priorities for future innovation opportunities that continue the Sustainable Brands community’s collective drive toward a sustainable future at a scale that can truly make a difference. Participants will highlight examples of partnerships and technologies –past, present and future – that have the potential to shift entire industry sectors. Speakers will inspire and equip attendees to address the following questions: What have you achieved through your consumer products in the last 10 years? What’s the next big thing for your industry to foster more sustainable consumption? How are you going to lead us into the future? How can we make sustainable consumption “real” both behind the scenes and in a direct consumer-facing way?
