Purpose-driven Storytelling Through Mainstream Media

How can we get the mainstream media to discuss the big ideas and innovations that are driving social change? Brands that are working to shift the paradigm are having a difficult time sharing their stories with a broad enough audience because so much of it is not being covered within the mainstream media. We know that broadening the discussion on purpose-driven storytelling will create a big shift in the way business is being conducted. This session discusses the opportunity to use purpose-driven brand decisions as a vehicle to change the story-telling narrative of the media. Panelists discuss the need to build bridges with “non-believers,” how to share with the world why so many purpose-driven brands are doing the good work they’re doing, and how to talk of our successes outside of the “sustainability bubble.”
