Landfill Harmonic: An Orchestra of Instruments Made from Trash

Landfill Harmonic is a film about "The Recycled Orchestra", a youth orchestra in Cateura, Paraguay; however, all of the instruments used by the orchestra are made from trash sourced from the local landfill. This video was a teaser to promote the Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of a forthcoming feature length film. The hope for the film is to raise awareness about poverty and waste, and to help establish the Landfill Harmonic Social Movement, with other chapters around the world.

The movement was also featured on 60 Minutes:

You can learn more about Landfill Harmonic and track the status of the film on the movement's Facebook page.
