SB'12 Program Overview
SB'12 Program Highlights At-A-Glance
Every year, Sustainable Brands delivers a world class faculty of thought leaders and practitioners who are leading the sustainable brand revolution. This year, join over 150 speakers and nearly 1,000 attendees in over 80 sessions, workshops, group discussions, plenaries, and evening events. The revolution will be branded. Embrace the opportunity.
Plenaries
Plenary sessions begin Tuesday morning and feature many leading thinkers and practitioners of environmental and social innovation in the world today. Each day brings new conversation about the Trends and Drivers that are sparking the revolution, the Innovation driving us forward, and the Communications that are captivating our lives.
Plenaries
These speakers, plus many more, will help us to build shared vision and alignment about the issues and opportunities relevant to our community's mission.
Breakouts
Facilitated break out sessions are designed to equip sustainability, brand, and design professionals with the tools needed to build new business and brand value. You'll find skills training sessions, best-practice case studies, and discussion groups all designed to inspire, engage, and equip our community.

Breakouts
Hear from these and many other engaging speakers during 1 hour break out sessions in the afternoon.
Co-create - Collaborate
This year brings bountiful opportunities to 'work a problem' by collaborating to design potential solutions to a system challenge. The goal of co-create and collaborate sessions will be to facilitate cross-industry brainstorming that leads to activation in the coming year.
Co-create - Collaborate
From sustainable consumption to packaging and labeling, some of the questions put forth to co-create groups include the following:
- How can we make sustainability irresistible?
- How can we help consumers use less water in the shower?
- How can we improve the recyclability of #5 polypropylene?
- How can we bring a multi-stakeholder approach to drive radical shift in our supply chain?
Tuesday night is when small groups of your peers will come together to spark out of the box ideas from these and many other questions.
Workshops
Take a deeper dive into half or full day interactive sessions on Monday during pre-conference workshops. These comprehensive sessions are a great way to elevate your knowledge in certain subject areas. Remember to purchase an ALL EVENT pass in order to participate in these productive work sessions.

Each select Cause has the opportunity to join us in a CauseWay Breakout Session, with 3-5 minutes to explain what they do and offer ways our audience can purposefully partner with them; followed by Q&A.
