SB'13 Collaboratory

 

We all know that sustainability isn't a destination. Our successes on this journey have been many. But the challenges have also evolved, along with our understanding of the issues. The complexity of these systemic sustainability issues means that we can't go it alone and that we need to work differently. This will require new approaches and tools, and we need the scale and diversity of thought, experience, and resources that can only come from a new kind of collaboration.

Since 2007, Sustainable Brands has fostered the development of a strong community that is on the leading edge of sustainability. Now we're building on that community to create a Collaboratory. To take on these challenges collectively with a bias for action. This isn't a working group or another meeting, but an approach that brings together the best of our thinking. The Collaboratory will take ideas and initiatives vetted by the Sustainable Brands community and create new hypotheses, prototype new business models, and develop innovative solutions to the systemic challenges. We need to get out of our silos and collaborate. Come join us. Be a part of the SB Collaboratory.

If you have an approach or idea that you think could create more impact at scale, or if you need help moving from incremental change to systems change, join the SB Collaboratory to address the problem from a broader view and with expanded resources and expertise.
