Great conversations are continuing throughout the week at SB'11
We were reminded this week of the importance of innovation in thinking and learning how to envision a solution – differently. Albert Einstein was eloquently quoted by saying, "We can't solve problems using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." It was the ideal kick off to the conference and a wonderful way to spark dialogue.

The conversation at Sustainable Brands this week has focused on the growing movement and a common belief by global brands that the opportunity exists to provide a positive impact in our future. Through innovation, leadership, better listening, and better storytelling, we can all provide the glue needed to help business and society realign toward a sustainable future.
Global thought leaders in sustainability, brand, and design are coming together to share their thoughts, challenges, and accomplishments. Here is just a sampling of the many great conversations that are continuing throughout the week.
Chris Laszlo, Author: The business case is not enough anymore. We need to have an understanding of the "how". Think about how you can achieve heretical disruption rather than incremental change in your organization.

Peter Hartwell, HP: Sensors make us aware of our surroundings and can help us to reduce the impact on our planet. The sensor revolution is going to happen.

Ian Yolles, RecycleBank: We have a huge and urgent need for disruptive change - a cultural shift! It's the cultural barriers that are bigger than the tech barriers themselves.

Ron Shaich, Panera Bread: It's not only what you do, but what it is you choose not to do.

Erin Schrode on Millennial generation expectations: We don't want to ask if it is green – we just expect that it will be.

Dr. Allen Hershkowitz, NRDC and Robin Raj, Citizen Group: If you want to change the world you can't do it by talking about how different you are – you need to connect with people where they live and play.
