Dan O'Neill

Dan O’Neill is General Manager for the Walton Sustainability Solutions Services at Arizona State University (ASU). In this role, he connects the sustainability needs of local and global stakeholders to the knowledge and delivery capabilities of ASU and its global network of partners through the delivery of real, practical, effective sustainability solutions. Prior to
this role, he was a lecturer and program director for the Technology Entrepreneurship and Management program in the College of Technology and Innovation (TEM/CT). Dan worked for ASU in the Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development (OKED) as the Director of Venture Acceleration where he helped faculty, student, alumni and community entrepreneurs create and grow their ventures. For OKED, Dan helped create and grow the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative. Prior to ASU, Dan co-founded and ran Hologix, an enterprise software company backed by $25 million of venture capital. His background in innovation, combined with his sustainability knowledge, informs his presentation regarding the university as convener of public-private partnerships to solve sustainability challenges.
