Eric Ostern
Eric Ostern is responsible for facilitating alignment of Unilever’s global sustainability strategy across the Americas. In addition, Eric directly oversees sustainability and community relations for Unilever North America, including Unilever’s U.S. Foundation. Eric is a key member of Unilever’s brand and business teams, providing sustainability counsel and active support. In his role, Eric also engages with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including sustainability thought leaders, NGOs, customers and government.
Eric has 25 years experience in brand marketing, communications, public policy and corporate responsibility. Prior to joining Unilever in 2007, Eric served as Marketing Director at a Manhattan-based consultancy where he provided counsel to clients in the Finance, Pharmaceuticals, Biometrics, and Retail industries. In addition, Eric spent more than a decade in a Fortune 10 corporation where he managed public policy and corporate responsibility strategies and programs.
Eric holds a Master in Business Administration in Marketing from New York University Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Binghamton University.
