As founder of Investing in Impact, Avary Kent is currently working to bring together people who care about working collaboratively to create system level change for the investing community.  Our motto is to create together what we cannot create alone.  Avary combines five years working as a scientist at George Washington University Labs, where she received a BS in Biology, with an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University of California and two years working in Impact Investing.  The main drive for this shift in career was the need to create something greater in the face of the overwhelming challenges we face in our lifetime.  Avary is a passionate entrepreneur who is amplifying the impact of both social entrepreneurs and impact investors. Currently supporting HIP Investor, The Happiness Institute!, Women Impact Project, is Co-President for the Net Impact SF Professional Chapter, and on the Alumni Board of Directors for DUC.
