Steven Cristol is founder and managing partner of Strategic Harmony® Partners, a strategy consultancy, and holds a patent for the first decision model and business method to align product strategy and brand strategy. His current work includes advancing processes to systematically integrate sustainability into product development portfolio management. During 30+ years of consulting and corporate experience, he has guided some of the world’s best-known and most innovative companies in building and managing brand equity and optimizing product development portfolios. He also served as the senior brand marketing executive at Pacific Bell (now AT&T) and as chief marketing officer for a venture-backed Silicon Valley startup acquired by Time Warner, and held account management positions at two leading advertising agencies in Chicago and San Francisco after beginning his career at Philips in The Netherlands. As a Free Press and McGraw-Hill business author, Steven’s business books have been published in eleven languages. Through a close strategic alliance with PwC, he partners with PwC advisory practices to deliver integrated services at the intersections of innovation, customer experience, supply chains, and sustainability. In a former life, Steven was a professional songwriter in Los Angeles, and now resides in Seattle when he’s not on the road with clients.
