Nick Udall

Since the age of 23, Nick has been working with the CEO's of global corporations helping them see their teams and organisations as conscious organisms, with both collective awareness and blindness.

He is passionate about helping them expand their consciousness so they are able to work with not just what's conscious, visible and explicate, but also with what's unconscious, invisible and implicate – that which is 'dark'. This enables leaders to ride the high and lows of the creative process (which Nick calls riding the 'creative-rollercoaster') and step into the 'hum' – the realm of evocative leadership, creative teams and cultures of innovation.

Originally trained as a Product Designer, Nick completed a doctorate in 1996 in Consciousness and Creativity – how to catalyse creative insight and collective breakthrough by design, rather than by accident. He then cofounded the Design Transformation Group in 1995, and nowhere in 1998. Nick splits his time between his catalyst work with global leaders and their teams, his leadership role in nowhere, and giving evocative talks and workshops around the world on the the power of collective intelligence, creative tension, flow and breakthrough.

Nick was also a founding member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on New Models of Leadership, ultimately becoming its Chair. He has written, coauthored and edited numerous publications including 'Riding the Creative Rollercoaster' (published by Kogan Page 2014), and 'the way of nowhere' (published by Harper Collins 2008 with Chinese translation by Chinese Machine Press 2017).
